PRACTICAL, LOCAL SUPPORT

“I need someone in Korea to help with this.”

Bring us the specific task that is holding things up.

The bank needs more documents.

We help clarify the request and prepare the materials.

An official notice arrived in Korean.

We explain the request and the follow-up needed.

Our local contact has changed.

We review the handover and identify any gaps in the records or ongoing work.

HQ needs an update on Korea.

We pull together the profit, the cash position and the points HQ needs to look at.

Availability and scope are confirmed in advance. We cannot guarantee that a bank will open an account, that every step can be completed remotely, or that an authority will give its approval.

CLEAR DELIVERABLES

Know what is done.
Know what needs your attention.

We do not stop at handing over documents. We set out what has been completed and what needs your attention.

Concise reporting

See the Korean company’s results, cash position and the items HQ needs to review.

Visible progress

Completed, in progress, waiting for you — marked clearly.

Decisions in writing

HOW WE WORK

Start from abroad, by email and document.

Share information and record decisions in writing, without relying on repeated calls during Korean business hours.

  1. 01

    Share your plans

Tell us about the business, whether you already have a Korean entity, and the support you need.

  2. 02

    Agree scope and fees

We set out who will carry out each task, what is included and excluded, and the expected cost.

  3. 03

    Prepare and proceed

We separate delegated tasks from actions that need your signature or attendance.

  4. 04

    Review and continue

We hand over the completed materials and any outstanding actions, then move into ongoing support if you need it.

Enquire in the language you are comfortable with.

Translation may be used to clarify written communication. Live foreign-language calls or professional interpretation are subject to availability and separately agreed fees.

SCOPE FIRST. FEES UP FRONT.

Understand the scope.
Know the costs before starting.

Nothing has to be bundled from the start. Core support, additional work and third-party costs are shown separately.

  • 01Formation and initial setupOne-off fee
  • 02Accounting and tax supportMonthly fee
  • 03Annual and additional workStated in the quote
  • 04Visits and document tasksPer-task fees and disbursements
  • 05Government and third-party costsSeparate from our service fee

We show first-year costs separately from what recurs each year.

The quote reflects your transaction volume, headcount, reporting requirements, the condition of existing records and any local visits. Additional requests are agreed before work begins.

We provide specific prices once we have reviewed the scope. The quote also states which external costs — taxes, government fees, registration, notarisation, translation and delivery — are included.

Request a scoped quote

One point of coordination. Clear responsibilities.

FAKT handles your enquiry and coordinates the work, then confirms the provider responsible, the professionals involved and the scope of the engagement. Company registration, legal and employment matters, and other specialist work are handled by the relevant professionals under a separately agreed scope.

  • Key decisions and final payment approval remain with you.
  • Visa support, the provision of a registered address and the holding of client money are not part of our core services.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you get in touch

Have another question? Include it in your enquiry.

Can I start without visiting Korea?

Yes, you can start the enquiry, document review and preparation from overseas. We check which tasks can be delegated and identify anything requiring your signature, identity verification or attendance. We cannot guarantee that every step can be completed remotely.

Can you support a company established by someone else?

Yes. You may engage us for accounting, tax, payroll, HQ reporting or individual local tasks. We review existing records, filing status and handover materials before agreeing the scope of any clean-up work and of the ongoing service.

Can I enquire before deciding the investment amount or structure?

Yes. Start with your business plans and intended timing. We identify the relevant review, filing and registration work for your structure and purpose, rather than assuming identical foreign-investment procedures for every foreign-owned company.

Do I have to speak on the phone in another language?

No. We work primarily through email and documents, using translation where necessary. Key scope, fees and approvals are confirmed in writing. Live calls or professional interpretation are subject to availability and a separate agreement.

Can you help open a Korean bank account?

We can agree support for checking bank requirements, preparing documents and assisting with an application. The bank decides whether to approve and open the account, and we cannot guarantee that every step can be completed remotely. Attendance and identity checks are reviewed in advance.

Does the monthly fee include everything?

No. The quote states whether payroll, the year-end accounts, the corporate tax return, bringing earlier records up to date, HQ reporting and local visits are included. Additional requests are scoped and priced before proceeding.

What should I send with my first enquiry?

A brief description of your business, current position and support needs is enough. A Korean business registration number or phone number is not required. Do not send passport copies, digital certificates, account passwords or one-time passwords at this stage.
